In the Beginning, I asked my congregation's board chair if I could publish a blog on our church's website about church websites and technology in general and specifically the challenges of doing a useful website for a small-to-medium-sized UU church. He said he needed to check with the board. That was five months ago. In web time, that means the idea has grown up, grown old, moved to a retirement community in the southwest, and died peacefully in its sleep. So I'm starting my own blog, off the church's site.

...and because this blog isn't hosted on our church's site, I can expand its scope a little bit. Here's what's on the menu:

- Thoughts about UUism from a new UU who spent the first half of his life Quaker and never expected to set foot again in a church of any kind except for weddings and funerals.
